Well, it seems that the gaming world is switching to Mumble at a pretty steady rate. Ventrilo only allows a person to run an 8 slot server for free, and any other server sizes must be rented through a reseller. I have decided to take on the "configing nightmare" and run a mumble server on our chicago server (Currently used for FastDL). Download the Client Windows Version [youtube][/youtube] Note: You don;t have to go to the link in the video if you download from above. Also use Push-To-Talk if you wish. Server Credentials --------------------------- chicago.jrit.ca 64738 Hopefully if this catches on we can set up a subdomain of mumble.absurdminds.net and point it to the server. |
