Post subject:  128 tick deathmatch FFA?

I've recently heard a lot of people online and whatnot talking about how they were sad there were no free for all deathmatch servers. Would you guys be interested in that? Just our 128 tick so when we're doing matchmaking practice we can practice seeing our teammates.

I love it. We still have the normal 64 tick deathmatch for match making, but being able to shoot anythng that moves is nice for warming up. Plus it makes you CONSTANTLY think about all your angles and corners.

I got a plugin so you will use your custom skins on any team.

Alright, I also got the other weapons installed (m4A1, CZ, USP), but there is a conflict between the deathmatch and the plugin that allows you to have your skins on the other team. The plugin forces your skin on you regardless of your team, but it also forces the skin on you regardless of your equipment choice. So if you have the P250 equipped and you choose the CZ, you will get a P250 anyway.

I am trying to see if there is a workaround, but I have currently decided to disable the skin plugin.

Wow, thanks a lot for working on this! This will be a huge improvement for our death match server! I'm pretty sure the Netcodes DM server doesn't have the conflict you mention above, but I'll have to double check that. So hopefully there is a workaround.

This new deathmatch plugin is just HORRIBLE. Yeah, it has the CZ, but that's the ONLY good thing about it. It doesn't let you set health bonus on death, it has radar enabled so you can see where everybody is in free for all, and you can't do molotovs. In the interest of having a good deathmatch server, I'm going to revert to the old Deathmatch plugin. So basically, if you want to practice the CZ, try out this.

What is health bonus on death? What is the point of throwing molotovs in deathmatch? Were you using the same Deathmatch plugin as the NetcodeGuides server? I don't recall if there was a radar or not, but I know that server is very popular and always full. I'm usually the only one in ours when I log in.

It looks like Netcode is running a different plugin. For future reference, you could have found this by joining their server and typing sm plugins in console. I'll try it out right now.

I personally like having the grenades in our server. I have heard people complain about it before but you don't have to throw them. I like to go in there and be able to practice them sometimes while in fights.

This new deathmatch plugin allows molotovs and grenades. It's one of the WORST written plugins I have ever encountered in my 5 years of running servers with plugins, (and that's including P1MP's horrible Pug plugin) but after about an hour and a half I was finally able to work out all the bugs and get it working.
