I'm almost done with my guide to counter strike. Do you know of anything I can add, change, clarify, or delete? When I am done, should I lock the thread to keep people from posting in it? Or should I unlock it so anybody can ask questions in it? |

I think it should be unlocked. Jeros mouse thread blew up and had a couple strangers commenting and asking questions. |

The thread is pretty much done, except for Jero's post about the radar. At this point, I'd also like feedback on the formatting. |

To be honest, I think the guide is amazing. Once it's finished you should submit it to the CS:GO subreddit and places like that. One thing you can add is pictures/gifs of the crosshairs. Should give new users a look into what the crosshairs look like. |

I thought about that, but the website that lets you customize your crosshair gives you visuals so I didn't think it was necessary. Plus my crosshair is so screwed up I actually couldn't get it back to default. :/

What if you go into your config and remove all crosshair settings? It should auto default.

I did that but the default crosshair still looked all screwy. |

I made a separate Q&A thread and linked to it in the OP for the first. That way, I can add content to the original thread without it being really weird, but people can easily ask questions if needed.

I haven't played Counter Strike in over a decade. I am working my way through the thread right now and thus far have found it enormously helpful! I will post if I find something I think has been left out and would be beneficial to add. Thanks! |
