No need to be rude, Jeroh. A modded server can be really fun to play on and Sky has some fun sounding ideas - although I also understand that AM puts their registry and server quality first over fun plugins.

I don't think he was being rude. Our clan is pretty clearly built on not having mods like that (keeping everything as competitive as possible) so it makes perfect sense for him to leave the clan if we put stuff like that in our servers.

Or maybe I'm just making mountains out of molehills -shrugs-

Just because it's not a game mode he enjoys does not make that type of server stupid. Him saying so implies that he finds the suggestion stupid, even if he didn't mean it in that way. I would hate for anyone to get the wrong idea about our clan like that.

What about a SHOP where you can buy fancy Hats , Masks , Trails To get points you have to spend time on the server the more times you spend the more points then you can buy stuff with that points SpoilerShow SpoilerShow

Visuals are really resource intensive, which again would ruin the hot registry in the server. Keep the ideas coming, though. I'm loving your suggestions.

I understand that this clan is based more so on competitive gaming, and I didn't find that part to be rude at all as this would become a clan he was no longer interested in. I was referencing to the "stupid server"portion of his comment (I should have made that clearer). Just because it's not a game mode he enjoys does not make that type of server stupid. If I was Sky-911, this would discourage me from giving future input.

Clearly the smiley face at the end of my comment meant it was not serious in anyway. I would obviously not leave AM over that, I just wouldn't play in the servers. I do not find the suggestion stupid per se, but find the idea of mods and servers like that to be terrible and I believe it has no part in a game like CS. Especially if it offers nothing to the gameplay but degrades the quality greatly. The type of people that congregate said servers are usually very casual and ban/kick players who do "too well" or decided to use their admin powers to go willy nilly. I can name 100 CS 1.6 servers like this. It has and always will be my stance with Superhero servers, Mines, warcraft mods, and other things like that. My opinion is: If you don't like CS enough to play CS, then play something different. It goes for servers that limit which weapons you can use like No AWP/AUTO, or servers that give infinite money. It destroys the entire aspect of what separates CS from other FPS games.

Meh, I don't think its really turning into anything. I certainly don't think jero was offended by cemy's comment. We as a clan are pretty much against any plugin at all that ruins registry.
