Do you guys like having the new forum banner on the top of the forum page, or do you prefer the old one that said ABSURD MINDS with the head in the middle? (I'm keeping this banner on the home page - I'm just asking about on the forums.) |

I voted for Jero's third option as I really like the one you have on the Main page now and this is a variation of that. I like a little variety between the two but like keeping the same modern look. I think its time to retire the "Classic" look.

BTW, Jero is currently working on a new darker theme. I think the old banner is going to stay with the subsilver theme, but Jero is working on finding a dark-skinned theme to use. Is that correct, Jero?

Yea hopefully. It may take a while because I want to at least get a working knowledge of how phpbb does things before breaking anything. |

I really find the current forum banner old and stale. We've updated so many images as we've grown but that's always been the same. I voted for Jeroh's new option

Yeah, my op was very unclear, and the poll made it even worse. Basically, there are three things going on here. 1. There is a new logo on the front page: what do you guys think about it? 2. To maintain consistency, should that logo be adopted to the forums as well? (I think the consensus was "no", because it's not really designed as a forum logo and didn't really fit). 3. Jero is creating a second, dark forum skin. Should that dark skin contain the logo of the front page, the old logo, or Jero's new logo? These three things all got muddled together, mostly because I wasn't clear in the op and it wasn't clear what the poll was referencing. Hopefully my post clarifies things a bit. |

1) I love the logo on the front page. 2) I think the logo Jeroh posted in this thread should be added to the forums to match the front page. 3) I think all forum theme/skins should contain the same logos. |
