How would you guys feel about making a subreddit for AM?
Just a thought.

I would prefer to have the people that want to engage, engage here.

I'm all for it, but the consensus seems to lean otherwise.

Reddit is a way bigger audience, so i think by creating a subreddit AM would be opening up to many more people, and this can be good or bad.

Yeah, having the community spread out into all these different places would be disastrous. If people want to participate in our community, they already have the steam group and the forums.

How would traffic be directed to the subreddit in a way that it would not be able to be directed to the website?

@Amaroq
Is the steam group active? I haven't looked at it since I joined. Is that something we should be doing? Update posts and event posts more often?

People sometimes post there trying to get ahold of somebody instead of posting to the forums. I think the problem would be intensified if we also had a subreddit.

I wasn't trying to discredit what you were saying. I was genuinely curious because I forget about the steam group all the time.

I know, I was trying to answer :/ The only activity is people posting there to try to get ahold of us.

Reddit is a large site, and people may well stumble across the subbreddits throigh mentions in relevant subbreddits, most notably /r/globaloffensive (that's how in found you guys). That being said, I agree that you should not fragment the community. The potential user gain isn't worth the confusion caused by bringing a third site into the mix.
