With the recent update, the CS:GO timers have changed.
Code:
In Competitive Matchmaking times are now 1:55 and 0:40 for round and C4, respectively. These are also the new times for CSGO Major Championships.
Since these are now the "official" times in CSGO majors, should we change the timers on our server to reflect the change?

I kind of think we should.

I personally voted yes. I always thought it was short sighted to keep the same values from 1.6 when the meta is so different, especially given the introduction of molotovs and the more expensive defuse kits. I think it's a step in the right direction that valve is pushing for what I believe is a more logical implementation of timers.

Personally I would want it changed. This is just to fit in with now what is the new standard for all gameplay.

Yes. If tournaments are using them, then we should too.

Apparently some leagues are saying they're not going to follow Valve's timers. So I think only the official Valve sponsored ones will be these timers.

I've changed it on the Asylum. I'm interested if ESEA and CEVO will change their timers before I change it in the 10 slot.
