| Post subject: | Custom weapon skins? |
Not that it's a big deal to me but is it possible to get custom skins for weapons and maybe for each of the T/CT types as well as the hosties? As of right now, I use custom skins on my machine but other people don't know what kind of awesome custom skin I'm using lol. Do they usually require more resources and lag up a server? |

Custom skins use more resources, and require people to download stuff before they can connect. I've also heard that some custom skins can mess with registry but I have no idea if that's true or not. |

Yea custom skins suck. The more mods and add-ons you put in a server the less the registry is true. So the more shit in it the worse the server is. To me it would be cool to have as a fun server because then you have the same people consistently playing in it but i would recommend not for a regular pub |

Yeah, we were thinking about making some sort of fun pub once we get the consistent donations necessary to maintain it. fy/awp/aim maps, skins, stuff like that. |

yeah when we get our fun pub up, I wouldn't mind having special skins and shit on there at all, because we can always devote more resources to it while we play on it. like if no one is playing in the scrim server and the pub server we can turn them off for better registry. |
