This is "meh" for me because I like to feel the ride. Given, this doesn't mean I enjoy driving through pot-hole ridden roads and through construction zones. Something very interesting I read when looking into this.

I read that many companies have been working on a system like this for years; this is still very incomplete and they've been working on it for 10+ years already. I think they are the closest though. One of the companies designed the suspension in such a way that when the shocks moved, it would help to recharge electric car batteries.

ADDITION: I've been reading a lot of reviews and people seemed to be obsessed with this idea, or very iffy of it. This gets me thinking that it may be more of the name people are obsessed with, and it being a new (not necessarily better) product. I was reading that the two biggest reasons that it hasn't been a hit is that it puts extra load on the engine/alternator (but only as much as an A/C unit does, which confused me why that even matters then), and because of cost. The cost of the suspension assembly in a Porsche Cayenne is significantly cheaper (I don't have numbers for you) and the quality of the ride isn't reduced enough to justify spending that much more for this new system.

Also, I personally would never put a kit like this on my car. I would be worried that it would do damage to other parts of the vehicle. My father put a leveling kit on his last truck and it ended up messing up other parts near the suspension, so a kit like this would make me feel uneasy. Although it does look pretty cool.

my monte carlo had a level system in it. you really couldn't flip that car. however, that was installed by a GM at a car lot so I am sure they knew what they were doing. I on the other hand, don't lol.

I think that was a part of it, that it wasn't dealer installed (it wasn't an option)
