I was playing basketball earlier. I was shooting a bit, and then noticed a large spider dangling from the hoop. I gave up playing, because it's dangerous to play on a basketball hoop with a spider.

Best case scenario: I am playing and knock the spider off while shooting from the block. It lands in my hair. It builds a nest, and lays its eggs. It creates such a formidable nest that even my shower doesn't dislodge it. The eggs hatch and I suddenly have a hundred spiders living in my hair.

A more realistic scenario: The spider actually digs a hole into my scalp and lays its eggs. I get a massive gaping hole (I'm sure it was a brown recluse spider). Also, the wound gets infected with staph. I die.

Worst case scenario: The spider is a transformer. It lands on my head and erupts into a huge robot. I die instantly.


Come on, that's dangerous! There is no way I was over reacting to stop playing basketball.
