I don't do either. I think both would be fun. Skiing is probably harder, so I'd want to do that, but snowboarding seems easier, so I'd want to do that too. |

I have gone snowboarding, sucked at it. Skiing doesnt look as fun, and you have to carry your poles around with you. |

My experience has been that skiing is easy to learn but hard to get good at, and snowboarding is hard to learn but easy to get good at. I suck at snowboarding so I just don't snowboard. I don't use poles. I hate them for that reason. They're great if your balance isn't very good, but if you have good balance and don't plan on skiing down Mt. Everest... they aren't necessary.

Ok, so i have been skiing since i was 5 and at 10 i tried snowboarding for a week and i liked it at first when there is no one on the mountain but when it got busy i felt like i was going to run into everyone. I also hated how to get onto the lift and getting off and i fell like 10 times. I went back to skiing and i have never gone back to snowboarding because i am just so much better at it. |
