Someone asked me before if I use snap chat, and I was curious how many of y'all use it?

I have snapchat but I rarely use it (I really don't ever need to send people pictures and don't understand it at all - I'm too old for this shit). I know that pretty much every member we have who is younger than 20 has it, and a few of the ones in their early 20s as well.

Is snapchat like Instagram? I don't really use social media, but the wife uses Instagram a lot.

No, it's just a way to text pictures to each other using data instead of texting. So my students used it a lot because they had limited texts but were always connected to wifi, so they could use it to send each other pictures. As an adult, I don't have parents limiting my texting, and I also have no need to take 100 pictures of my shoes to send people, so I have never found a use for it.

I know it's useful for Mutiny and Travis because Travis is Canadian and it costs him a ton of money to send and receive international pictures through text.
I think Mutiny, Azn, and Travis are the only three who use it regularly to talk to each other, but I could be wrong.

Travis, Azn, Noctis, Anubis, and myself have it. All of us use it to communicate except Anubis. Snapchat is not only for pictures, if you have the latest update, you can type to people. It is a way to communicate with those Canadians.... Eh?

I use snapchat almost exclusively to talk to my friends that I frequently talk to. There's nothing worse than reading a text and not knowing exactly what their intent with the text was. It's easy to put inflections on words that weren't supposed to have them. Instead you send a picture of the thing you are talking about or of your facial expression with a text. And it really makes it 100x easier to flirt with people. Never before was I able to show my rippling quads off to mutiny with such haste.

I use snapchat a bit more frequently now. The interface is total shit but the fact that I can send picture easily and without spending $$$ on picture messaging means it's great to use in the end.
