Car enthusiasts have been repeatedly let down by auto manufacturers since the '90's. It has been a regular consumer market, with not many options available for those of us with heavy feet and a passion for competition. But this is not the case any longer. The market is changing! BMW has released a new 4 series car; Honda has unveiled the remade NSX; Ford has announced a new Ford GT; Toyota has been pushing their soon-to-come Supra. This thread is going to show pictures, summaries, and specs from the released information of these new enthusiast cars.

BMW M4

The 2015 BMW M4 comes in at $75,000, just $1,000 more than the M3. The BMW M3 and M4 are identical cars, with the only exception being that the M4 is only a coupe, and the M3 is only a sedan. The new styling of this M powered car is very bold and attention-grabbing. The engine reflects the styling, coming in at 425hp@7,300rpm and 406lb-ft@5,500rpm. As usual, it comes with a rear-wheel drive drivetrain to allow for some mad drifts yo.

Acura NSX

Only recently announced, Honda/Acura is keeping a tight seal on the upcoming NSX. There hasn't been an official release date yet, but it is expected to be unveiled officially in 2015. Honda has announced that the NSX will have 550hp and that will come from a combination of a rear-engine 3.7L V-6 and 3 electric motors. Motortrend.com estimates the base price to be $130,000.

Ford GT

The Ford GT is finally back. An amazing car that is unlike any other that Ford has built. The new Ford GT contains a 3.5L twin-turbo V6 which pushes out more than 600 horsepower at the wheels. Ford has not given out a detailed specification sheet yet, but they have announced that the Ford GT will contain their most powerful EcoBoost engine to date. Although a price has not been released yet, the previous Ford GT model was priced around $140,000.

Toyota FT-1 (Supra Successor)

Not much is known about the concept Toyota FT-1. We know that Toyota has been working on a successor to the Supra. After Toyota's release of the GT86/FR-S/BRZ for only $27,000, it is clear that Toyota is capable of creating an inexpensive, fun, sports car that the masses love. On the other side of the spectrum, through the Lexus LFA, it is clear that they are also capable of making an extraordinarily expensive super-car that a select few will be able to purchase (priced at $375,000). This leaves us scratching our heads and hoping that Toyota badges the FT-1 as Scion or Toyota, and not Lexus.
