Yeah she was the CEO of reddit. Now they've reinstated the OLD CEO of reddit. Everybody blames that lady for the things that happened, not realizing that the CEO doesn't decide shit, they just follow through with what the board decides. The anti-discrimination thing: obviously reddit was getting flak for certain things. The U.S. being the state that it is, it's clear to see why people got mad at fat shaming and not at racist subreddits. Eventually there will be no discrimination on reddit if people keep standing up for what they believe.
Standing up, not just complaining. The CEO is just ONE member of a board. Last point: Corporations are not built on giving the consumer what they want. Corporations are built on making money. Some of the most customer oriented corporations have terrible reputations because they make a decision that makes them more money and screws over the customers.
