I could listen to something like this when I'm in a chill mood. This sample is too simple and repetitive for my taste. But I could definitely listen to a full version of this

What program(s) are you using to make it? I personally like it, but I think it might sound better if the percussion were mixed a bit louder and the synth a bit quieter. It would make it seem less repetitive. (In other words, I don't think the repetition is the problem, per second, but rather the mix that puts the synths so loud compared to the more interesting percussion.)

I agree. Also, I think more harmonizing would make it less repetitive. Right now it's clearly defined synth and clearly defined percussion.

Im using Logic Pro X and just a midi keyboard
and yea, i also might sidechain it so the synth pulses. Keep in mind im still a beginner and have only had this program for a month or two cx Thanks for the info though. I appreciate it alot :-)

Logic pro op. Thats what I use :D
