This past weekend I had the chance to attend ESL One NY making this my first time attending a large CS tournament. The Barclays arena is absolutely huge. Maybe because I've never been in an arena before. Anyways it was a shame Liquid got rekt so hard. You could clearly see how the team was down and crowd was starting to lose hope. The 2nd map was a lot of fun. Crowd finally came alive and was supporting the team until the upsetting last round. Liquid was completely unprepared.
Other than that the venue had a lot of fun stuff to do around. They had booths for ROG, Valve, different student leagues, 1v1 competitions, free air spray of the team logos. I managed to get the autographs from SK and Faze and a few shitty pictures of Ska, rush, and stewie2k. The rest of the teams had signing sessions on Saturday so couldn't get those. Definetly a fun experience and looking forward to the next event!

PS: RIP wallet. Spent about $150 there in clothing+food+other stuff

I wish I could have found and stayed for the afterparty but unfortunately my friend and I had to go back home since he has to leave back for school the same night.

Dude that's awesome! I want to go next year if NY hosts one again.
