One group of Christians with a radio show is spreading the word that the rapture is happening this month, and you’d better be ready. Meanwhile, a group of atheists has started a “countdown to backpedaling.” WeCan’tKnow.org is decked out with a countdown clock, ticking off the seconds until May 21. The URL, of course, is pointing some fun at WeCan Know.org, the official site of the Family Radio group predicting the end of times. The backpedaling clock is brought to you by a group of atheists in Tacoma — and they also have a radio show. The folks at Ask an Atheist on KLAY AM 1180 are hosting a party for those left behind. Christians should scoff too. Wasn't it Christ himself that said nobody would know when the end of days would be? |
