I am using all the stuff Anubis recommended =) I figured out why I was getting the blue screen. I tried to put (force) ram in a slot that it would not fit in.

Memory that wouldn't fit in a slot? You sure you're using the right type of RAM? I mean they all look almost the exact same (DDR, DDR2, and DDR3.) You sure you just didn't have it seated the wrong way? Well it doesn't matter now since you've solved your problem. Congrats!

McAfee is the worst program on the market. Wait, let me correct that, its not actually the worst product, but as of right now it will act like the worst product. There is a big group of hackers that have found a way around McAfee's entire system so that it will tell you a virus is not a virus or that something is a virus that isn't. This is not McAfee's fault but they were just targeted. Just so everyone knows.

Well it's a good thing I got rid of McAfee from my PC. I've seen it still employed and haven't heard anything in regards to compromises in McAfee. Anyways, I still prefer McAfee much more over Norton. Anything and everything got passed Norton when I used it. False advertisement is all over the damn box on Norton!

WAAAAAAAY old topic, but there is some debate recently as to weather or not Nortion Anyti-virus is a virusin itself. Some people say Norton is its own peice of (shit) spyware. From personal exp., however, norton is horrible at detecting virus' for ex. i had a virus that would open anoher internet window everytime i opened firefox and norton couldnt detect is. i have more examples but my class period is over

Yeah, norton is ridiculous. You should get avast or avg. I personally like avast better, but a lot of people prefer avg. They're both top notch.

avast all the way, and you better have malware bytes and spybot search and destroy handy. If you have those three programs you are almost under lock and key from viruses, however sometimes things can still get through. That is when you need to use Hijack this. However, do not use hijack this unless you know what you are doing because you can break your computer worse.

Now I sell norton all day every day. It actually is really awesome now. The newest version doesn't hog your resources, and it gives you a lot of overall protection. Especially if you regularly back up files to an external hard drive, or you do lots of online banking and purchases it will protect your identity from being stolen, and it actually finds MOST viruses. Never used McAfee. They got hacked earlier this year or late last year and their shit doesn't work anymore. Kaspersky is another really good pay for program. It detects hook viruses and root kits better than most things besides malware bytes.

That is just my two cents. I prefer the top ones over norton but yeah just saying.
