I think one of the main reasons our servers are so sporadically visible is our router. Often times, resetting the router is the only thing I need to do to make the server visible to the outside again. We're currently using a Belkin F5D7234-4 v5 (01). Does anybody have any recommendations for a better router? |

Currently, I'm using the Linksys WRT120N Wireless-N router. For general purposes, it's doing its job right but I have been having some stupid random moments where the router wouldn't let me iPod Touch connect even though I'm right next to the router. A quick reboot of the router solves the problem though and it happens rarely so I'm not complaining. But yeah, it's what I use and it hasn't given me the amount of headaches that my previous Netgear router gave me. |

netgear has been the most reliable thing I have ever owned. linksys just quit working for no reason (it wouldn't let certain webpages load almost ever) and the belkin we have currently sucks balls. |

From what I've been told and experienced, Linksys provided me ease of use and the quality was better than most of the routers I've messed with. However Netgear was mostly recommended by people but they aren't as user friendly as Linksys IMO. |

i think about most of the schools in the LA district use linksys |
