What do you guys think of these parts? I'm just curious. It's easier for me to save money when I feel like I'm saving towards something. Check out Canada Computers in Waterloo 230-234 Weber St. N. Waterloo, Ontario N2J 3H4, Canada The prices are comparable with newegg and you won't need to pay for shipping if you just go to the store.. Case = Shitty generic case, way over priced. Stupid early 2000s gaming style(Pointy Sci-fi look with standard blue cathode lights). No cable routing options, no cpu socket cutout. Full sized drive bays will prevent full size video cards from fitting. Rosewill makes better cheaper cases. Bitfenix makes great cases for the same price too, I have the Merc and love it, the raid is apparently amazing for its price. <40 http://canadacomputers.com/product_info ... _id=027049 40-60 Range http://canadacomputers.com/product_info ... _id=040683 http://canadacomputers.com/product_info ... _id=045153 http://canadacomputers.com/product_info ... _id=040682 60-80 Range http://canadacomputers.com/product_info ... _id=038696 http://canadacomputers.com/product_info ... _id=044801 http://canadacomputers.com/product_info ... _id=027983 http://canadacomputers.com/product_info ... _id=024668 Sound Card = Useless as AC97(Onboard) 7.1 sound provides ample quality now. Also creative haven;t released a good sound card in years, ASUS controls that market now with their Xonar products. If you are gaming a USB sound card is a good idea if you need additional amplification. Power supply = High failure rate, Efficiency is at 72% which is terrible. This one is much better (Seasonic make Corsair's High End PSUs) http://canadacomputers.com/product_info ... _id=039398 Or for 20 bucks more you can get a semi-modular 650W http://www.canadacomputers.com/product_ ... _id=040598 The graphics card is amazing if you can get it at that price, and if its a legit seller. |
