Yesterday I watched a video saying that it is good to pop off the top of your deathadder once in a while to clean it. I then researched very briefly and saw many people recommended that. So i popped off the top with MUCH difficulty. This is the resulting chaotic piece of fuck up that I achieved.
NOTE: Anything that is WHITE, is broken. On the top cover, you'll notice a white line, that is where it tore.

I currently am waiting to go get super glue

holy shit....I never thought to dismantle it to clean it, but I can see how this would be useful. however, is there a proper way to do it or will it break everytime. I am about to get a new death adder anyway as I am finally starting to wear out the scroll wheel. I have never had the double click problem you mentioned though. you look like you have the same generation death adder as me. Is your cord braided like anubis's or just a normal rubber cable like mine?

I just have the normal rubber cable. Mines before the braided generation. But I'm certain that in the video that I watched, the guy took it off without breaking the clips. I don't know why mine broke. But if you use a scalpel or a very thin blade, you could use the above pictures to get right next to the clips so that they don't break.

Of the broken clips, the top 2 definitely come out, because I can take them out now, but I have not been able to get the hollow clips out. So i'm not sure how that works.
