Does the Z77 support sandy bridge? It's cheaper and I have 2400s and was seriously considering 2600k or 2700k at the end of the year. Or do you think I should wait till christmas sales for a motherboard as well? |

It supports both Sandy and Ivy. They don't make Sandy Bridge CPUS anymore so you might have a hard time finding them in the coming months, plus having a Z77 allows you to upgrade further in a few years.
