This is my gaming rig upgrade path. Mainly because of boredom. 2000 Basic Specs: Celeron 500Mhz + ATi 3D Rage Pro + 64MB SDRAM Peripherals: IBM Ball Mouse + IBM Keyboard + Random Headphones & Mic Primary Game: Delta Force 2 Secondary Games: Counter-Strike, Quake 3 Comment: My aunt gave me this computer when my uncle died because nobody else knew anything about computers. 2002 Basic Specs: Celeron 950Mhz + Onboard Intel + 128MB SDRAM Peripherals: Generic Optical Mouse + IBM Keyboard + Random Headphones & Mic Primary Game: Delta Force 2 Secondary Games: Counter-Strike, Quake 3 Comment: IBM Netvista my step-dad bought for "the family". Nobody else touched it but me. 2002 Basic Specs: Celeron 950Mhz + PNY Geforce 2 MX200 + 512MB SDRAM Peripherals: Generic Optical Mouse + IBM Keyboard + Random Headphones & Mic Primary Game:Delta Force 2 Secondary Games: Counter-Strike, Quake 3 Comment: Started working at Tim Horton's on weekends & as a roofing helper in the summer. RAM and Video card were hugely helpful especially with the windows XP release. My first time actually getting into PC stuff. 2003 Basic Specs: Athlon 1800 + PNY Geforce 4 MX420 + 512MB DDR Peripherals: Logitech MX500 + MS Wired 500 Keyboard + Plantronics .Audio 90 Primary Game: Counter-Strike Secondary Games: Delta Force:BHD Comment: Sold the Netvista and decided to embark on my first build. ECS budget motherboard, generic case and PSU but it ran like thunder! 2004 Basic Specs: Athlon 1800 + PNY Geforce FX5200 + 1GB DDR Peripherals: Logitech MX500 + IBM Keyboard + Plantronics .Audio 90 Primary Game: Counter-Strike Secondary Games: None Comment: Smoke Lag + the mandatory use of Ventrilo and mIRC for competitive required me to upgrade the next year. 2005 Basic Specs: AMD64 2800 + PowerColor Radeon 9250 + 2GB DDR Peripherals: Logitech MX500 + IBM Keyboard + Plantronics .Audio 90 Primary Game: Counter-Strike Secondary Games: None Comment: 64 bit CPUs were too good to pass up. Decided to switch to an ATi card for this build. Antec Sonata case and Antec PSU. 2006 Basic Specs: AMD64 2800 + BFG Geforce 6800LE + 2GB DDR Peripherals: Logitech MX518 + MS Wired 500 Keyboard + Sennheiser PC160 SK Primary Game: Counter-Strike Secondary Games: None Comment: Full time job after graduating high-school. New video card, mouse and headset cause why not? 2007 Basic Specs: AMD64 X2 3800 + Visiontek Radeon x1650XT + 2GB DDR2 Peripherals: Logitech MX518 + MS Wired 500 Keyboard + Sennheiser PC160 SK Primary Game: Counter-Strike Secondary Games: None Comment: Gotta get me some of that dual core. Antec Sonata II and Antec PSU. 2008 Basic Specs: AMD64 X2 6000 + Sapphire HD3870 + 4GB DDR2 Peripherals: Logitech MX518 + MS Wired 500 Keyboard + Creative Fatality Headset Primary Game: World of Warcraft Secondary Games: None Comment: Just a pure power upgrade. This build was in an Antec Sonata 3 which Char currently uses. Average Joe was given the CPU/Mobo and RAM. 2010 Basic Specs: Phenom II x2 550 + Sapphire HD5770 + 4GB DDR3 Peripherals: Logitech MX518 + MS Wired 500 Keyboard + Plantronics Gamecom 367 Primary Game: World of Warcraft Secondary Games: None Comment: My old rig which was in the same Sonata 3, now it is Char's primary computer for WoW and stuff. 2011 Basic Specs: Phenom II x6 1055T + Sapphire HD5770x2 + 8GB DDR3 Peripherals: Logitech G400 + Steelseries 6Gv2 + Steelseries 5Hv2 Primary Game: World of Warcraft Secondary Games: Counter-Strike Comment: The start of my current rig. First and last time trying crossfire. All new peripherals including mechanical keyboard. One 5770 went to Average Joe. 2012 - Current Basic Specs: Phenom II x6 1055T + Sapphire HD6950 + 8GB DDR3 Peripherals: Steelseries Kana + Steelseries 6Gv2 + Steelseries SiberiaV2 Primary Game: CS:GO Secondary Games: Minecraft, World of Warcraft Comment: Changed mouse & headset for ultimate fanboyism. Decided on a better video card situation. Probably not going to upgrade next year unless something breaks, but 2015 is gonna be SWEET. |

Mine I think would have about three in it. 2005, 2009, and 2012. But I don't remember any of those specs. |

yeah I probably have 3 maybe 4 total, I'll have to look back at what I had. my first couple of computers I have no idea about actual hardware. |
