I don't know what's wrong with my computer :( It was working when I took my graphics card out. Then today it just shut off. Now when power it on, it starts for roughly 5 seconds and then shuts off for about 2-3 seconds and repeats until I turn the PSU off. There is no response from the monitor during this time. All I've changed was taking out my i5-2400s and swapping it for an i5-3570. My mobo is AsRockZ77 extreme3. Could anybody give me done advice? I'll put the old cpu in tomorrow(need more thermal paste). Its there any other possible issues I'm not seeing?

Please Halp.

Have you tried letting it sit without a power cable plugged in and holding the power button down to dissipate all the electricity? I can't tell you how many times this has worked on various computers for me. Also, are you absolutely sure you didn't hit something on the mobo with static. Obviously, that is hard to know, but did you ground yourself, make sure not wearing socks on carpet and stuff like that? Its very possible something got damaged in the switch. Also, just double check that everything has power from the PSU and its all plugged in really tight. I would test just about everything. Re-seat your memory, hook your PSU into the other computer to make sure your PSU is fine, if your PSU is fine and your RAM is fine, then you need to troubleshoot if you possibly fried your mobo. There is a way to get a spark on the mobo with a screw driver, I can't remember how to do it exactly so I don't wanna try to tell you, but I will find out and this is a great way to see if the mobo is sending power throughout the board. Hopefully someone else knows a few tricks.

I dissipated the power, still didn't work. I'll try the other things you suggested tomorrow. Thank you!
