I just installed Avira Free to test it out. So far it's okay, fairly comprehensive for a free solution. I can easily turn off real-time protection while gaming, and so far there are no annoying messages telling me to buy the full version. |

sophos is the best anti virus I have ever seen. It uses so little resources and it catches everything. It caught the FBI virus, the internet explorer bug that was happening a little while back, and he catches every spoof anti virus program I have seen so far. Staples is the only place that sells it besides their own website. I have a copy I should install it. They remotely connect to your computer if something gets by and they remove it or they come to your house within 24 hours. |

I don't trust you. I don't need any anti virus or spy/mal/bloatware protection. BRB, downloading porn with limewire.But seriously, what about MSE? I don't get how they can go from the best free antivirus, to being complete shit in 1-2 years |

1. It is the most widely used so malware programmers specifically make software to avoid it. 2. Completely dropped XP support & updates. 3. Budget being placed elsewhere. |
