Since this is now relevant to us, here is a paper my Unix Professor and Internet personality Allan Jude wrote. http://www.allanjude.com/bsd/EuroBSDCon ... ayer_7.pdf Because our service is latency dependent and not just up-time dependent makes most of these solutions useless, but it is interesting. |

Yeah, from what little research I have read without some serious man time watching the server and routing things in real time, null routing is about the only solution. This is a cool paper, I am gonna have to read the whole thing. |
