I was in Futureshop (Canadian BestBuy even though he have those too) buying WoW:WoD for Char, and decided to check out what garbage hardware they sell. Well low and behold, they had Steelseries Rivals for $39! $39 CANADIAN($35 USD). I HAD to buy it, just because it was that cheap. So now I have a new mouse...another new mouse. Good News is that when another person needs a mouse, I will gladly send them my Zowie FK.

So in the Past 3+ years being around [AM] I have gone through in this order:

Logitech MX518
Logitech G400
Steelseries Sensei
Steelseries KinzuV2
Razer Deathadder 3.5
Microsoft WMO 1.1a
Steelseries Kana
Zowie FK
Zowie EC2 eVo
Steelseries Rival
Zowie FK1
Steelseries Rival 100
Zowie ZA12

Which is your favorite?

Well in my head I have a "perfect" mouse, none so far have met those standards. Hopefully the Rival turns out to be fantastic for me. Hopwever I have used ambidextrous designs for a few years now, the right hand shape will probably take a bit to get used to again. All the mice I've used had 1 or more flaws or quirks.

Logitech MX518 (Prediction, very old) -Gave away.
Logitech G400 (Too big, started to go towards ambidextrous mice and claw grip) -Gave away.
Steelseries Sensei (Laser, this was before I researched) -Gave away.
Steelseries KinzuV2 (Too small, no side buttons) -Left at old job.
Razer Deathadder 3.5 (Too big + Mouse 1 faulty) -Trash
Microsoft WMO 1.1a (Low max speed, cheap feel, loose mouse wheel) -Father's current mouse.
Steelseries Kana (Some prediction, bad button placement, stiff cable) -Gave away.
Zowie FK (too small) -Sent to Cemy
Zowie EC2 eVo (uncomfortable, slippery) - Sent to Robot
Steelseries Rival -(Way too big, random crosshair shift) - Wife's current mouse.
Zowie FK1 -(Mouse Cable shorted out due to Razer Bungee, still works 95% of the time.) -My current backup.
Rival 100 -(Mouse 1 switch faulty) -Trash
Zowie ZA12 - So far so good.

By too small, does that mean the mouse is just too small for your hand? It might be perfect for mine then. I got itsy bitsy hands :3
What exactly does LOD mean?
How much are you asking for it?

I've been thinking about getting both a gaming mouse and a gaming keyboard. I haven't noticed any issues with my mouse so far (but it's wireless so that's annoying sometimes), but I've definitely noticed a need for a gaming keyboard while playing CS.

I would suggest the mouse first. While it's harder to maybe notice the flaws of a bad mouse, they're probably more harmful than those of a non gaming keyboard

I think the mice are cheaper anyway, so that works for me :DD

Thanks Robot. I googled it, but then got too lazy to sift for the right answer.

I loved LOD. I think jero was going to lend the mouse to whoever needed it. I might be wrong and I hope I didn't speak out of turn.

Lend as in give? I don't lend anything. If people need something and cannot afford it, I am more than happy giving things away. Better than clutter.

How much were you looking to get for that mouse, Jeroh? As long as it's under fifty, I can probably afford to purchase it in the next month or two. I just need my paychecks for this new job to start coming in and I should be golden.
