Finally got done ordering and building my new PC. The reason why it it took so long is because I knew I wouldn't have much time during school to play so I delayed it to winter break. This also helped with increasing the budget from $700 to $1400. With all that said here is the build: Case: ThermalTake Versa II USB 3.0 Med Tower CPU: AMD X8 FX-8350 Motherboard: MSI 970A-G43 Video Card:MSI R9-270x 2GB DDR5 Pcie SSD: Kingston 120GB V300 2.5" Hard Drive: WD Blue 1TB 3.5" RAM: Kingston HyperX Fury 8GB Kit Black (2x4GB) Power Supply: ThermalTake SP-750P Bronze 80+ DVD Drive: LG DVDRW 24x Black OEM Keyboard: Logitech G105 Monitor: LG 23.6" LED D-SUB/DVI-D/HDMI Wireless Card: Tenda W322P+ PCI Wireless N300 OS: Windows 8.1 PRO N Unfortunately, I will not be able to use it until Christmas because my brother put money into the computer as my Christmas present from him, so to be thankful I will not use it until then. I did a burn in test before he wrapped it up so I know it works. Posting pictures later when I set it up. Can't wait to play CS:GO with more than 10fps now! |
