This has happened for quite some time now with any device thats is not connected to my internet with an ethernet cable I touched upon this is another post but I was wondering if someone could help me before I call my isp My wifi will only work for a certain amount of time before I have to turn the wifi off then on on my laptop or phone. If im playing cs ill get anywhere from 5-10 mins before my internet shuts off and I have to restart steam. If im using the interwebs I can load about two pages before I have to I/O my internet again. This happens anywere in my house. Internet problems part 2: The other router I have is a little better and gives me more time before I have to I/O my internet but the problem is the name of the router will show up, but I have 0 bars and theres no internet. I checked the router and it says everything is fine. Any suggestions would be appreciated |

It sounds like your router/routers or modem is dying. At the very least the wifi part of it is dying. |

Have you tried logging into the webpage of your router? Try to look at the logs and google any errors. |

Upgrade router firmware, change it to an easier encryption (WPA, instead of WPA2). Change the broadcast channel. Also good "<router model> dropping wifi" or something to see if it is a common issue. |
