5. Huawei Vitria (sar 1.49) 4. Alcatel One Touch Evolve (sar 1.49) 3. Motorola Moto E (sar 1.5) 2. Motorola Droid Ultra (sar 1.54) 1. Motorola Droid Maxx (sar 1.54) The video explains more about radiation and what those sar numbers mean, I haven't had time to read about that yet or even watch the whole video. If someone knows more please fill me in. |

I have no links in hand to back me up with this at the moment because I'm on mobile, but the radiation given off by a phone is nearly unrelatable to anything. You are exposed to much more natural radiation, microwaves, and xrays. Veritasium had a video on it, many other youtubers have similar videos. |

I was looking at radiation now that you mention it and I found this chart on the wikipedia page for background radiation.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Background_radiation An Interesting tidbit is when you click this link and look at the radiation levels in air is that the US and Japan has. Even though Japan has had Hiroshima, Nagasaki, and Fukushima the US still has 470% higher air radiation. So even a radioactive wasteland of an island still has less radiation per capita. I typically talk on a Bluetooth headset and leave my phone in the other room at home, or toss it on the passenger seat while driving. Maybe phone radiation is over-hyped, but it can't hurt, plus talking on a headset is convenient. I figure I probably get enough radiation from flying jets that I don't need any from my phone. |
