As many of you already know, HLSW has not been supported for years. In fact, it stopped being supported before CS:GO came out, so there are often problems using HLSW with CS:GO servers. A steam friend of mine recently alerted me to another program that is designed to take the place of HLSW. I'm not really familiar in what ways hlsw is broken? What are the pros and cons between moving to a new system? |

HLSW used to be an amazing program. You could have a list of all the servers you want to watch, and individually save the rcon password to each one. It would list every person in it and log everything that happened so you could walk away for a while and come back to recap. You could kick ban timeban people from outside the game. you could chat into the server using the console and talk to people remotely. I don't know what's broken with it since I stopped using it years ago. |

One thing I've noticed initially from the screencaps on that thread is that it doesn't appear to be a way to view only the chat. In HLSW you can view the chat individually and also the entire log of the server separately. The entire log of the server is extremely spammy and makes it difficult to keep track of written conversations. Since one cannot see the chat when in the GOTV, viewing the chat individually has become my primary method of keeping track of the server without actually having to be online. I'd find this to be a huge con of replacing our currently HLSW EDIT: Oh fuck, ignore the above. It says he added a chat tab. |

Different things are broken for different people, depending on what version you're running and what type of server it is. If you haven't noticed any issues, there's no reason to switch. |

Everything I've used on hlsw has worked for me. But I haven't really messed with too many of the features. |
