Wanna know what I went with before going all insane with my current PC?

It was a champ (and it's still being used...by my father) and did a lot of the necessary gaming (ran Crysis at High settings...not Highest but still good).

Well I did put some muscle into the computer to have it play Crysis on high settings. When I first got the build, it was running this card:

After hearing about Crysis for the first time, I tried playing it with the 8600GT you see there. It was only able to handle the game at Medium settings and I wasn't satisfied with that. When I read about how well the 8800GT performed, I set out to purchase that. I was finally able to hit High settings with Crysis and it slapped a nice grin on my face. The 8800GT you see in my old computer is about a year old now and really packs a nice punch even today. However, since I moved onto my Core i5 750 build (the current computer I use), the old PC was just collecting dust. My father was pissed off about how his Pentium M-equipped laptop from Dell was acting so I suggested that he take my old PC. So yeah, he's using my old one while I'm using my green/blue glowing tank. My old PC is actually overkill for what my father uses a PC for but hey, as long as someone puts it to good use, I'm satisfied.

Sorry to break this to you Bunny but that desktop he's using still belongs to me lol. My cousin gave me an HP desktop since she didn't need it (her & her husband both decided to get laptops and didn't need the desktop.) So, if for some odd and insane reason I need my old desktop back, I'll have him use the HP I got from my cousin.
