This site will help you determine if another site / website is down. It can also tell you where the problem is when you click the how do we know? under site is down. It will then give you a detaile list of the problems. Hope this is helpfull for some.

this is actually really cool. Sometimes I can't tell if my internet is messing up or if the website is actually down, but now I have a solution.
