Post subject:  Best build for Bioshock:Infinite

I'm tearing through the game on hard difficulty now with a great build, and I'd like to offer it for people that are struggling in hard mode or going to play 1990 hard mode. I have not died all game with this build, and I'm destroying packs of enemies and bosses like they're made of tissue. To use one of Jero's favorite terms, this build has synergy.

Step One
Throughout the game you'll find power ups for life/mana/shields. First thing to do: Max out shields. My logic is shields always can recharge without needing medpacks and being extremely valuable for survival. This allows you to focus more on killing rather than running around in panic looking for health, and is key to having an effective build. After shields, I went for pure salt upgrade.

Step Two: Get the charge vigor. As soon as you have charge (you leap across the map charging an enemy and dealing huge melee damage), have enough cash to immediately get the added power up where charge makes you briefly invulnerable and regenerates your shield. This allows you to leap through maps killing enemies (not having to worry about distance or map interference), while always having your shield up. You should not have issues dying, especially when equipped properly. With charge and the

Step Three: Equipment, get the following (I'll get exact names once I get home)

(will look up name ) after a target has been hit with melee (using charge), it takes 2X the damage for five seconds.

(will look up name) Striking an enemy with melee (aka using charge) has a 70% chance to set the enemy ablaze, dealing 300 damage over 3 seconds. This is extremely effective against packs of enemies, as it has an area of effect. Also, it owns crow men and the big enemies (especially bosses) when teamed with the 2x damage from the first equiptment.

(will look up name) Killing blows give you 40% chance to gain salt. This allows you to repeatedly charge enemies without worrying about salt issues.

(will look up name) killing an enemy with melee (using charge) restores health. This is the most replaceable item, but it's nice to have a health re-generator.

Following these three easy steps will allow you to kill enemies without worrying about dying, and it's also a blast to leap around the map and destroy the enemy.
