It's supposed to be coming out later this year. I honestly think it's going to be delayed again though to early/mid 2016.

I just played it. Yep, it's an alpha. Everything is a placeholder/broken/not there. Can't play with friends or mute your own mic (always on, no push to talk). Basic settings are broken, crashed on me 12 times before I even got to play it. If it doesn't work at a core level then you shouldn't be releasing or marketing the alpha to the public.

On the bright side, the game play is there and some cool concepts are used (even if broken).

I personally think that this game should be coming out Quarter 3/4 2016. If the release date is anytime this year then there might be a shit ton of problems on launch. Hopefully they learned their lesson with Ass Creed Unity but who knows.

I think it's really showing a lot of potential. I didn't get to play a whole match (I only got to play a couple of full rounds without crashing), but I could see that the game requires some serious skill and lends itself to a variety of play styles. I think it's incredibly difficult to play without proper voice comms, though. The audio codec makes communication unintelligible in the first place, and the lack of push to talk definitely doesn't help. All in all, I'm really excited about it and hope the game progresses quickly.

I didn't have as many problems as you Sticky P. The game ran pretty smoothly for me and the only gripes I had about the alpha are:

- The mic always being on. The quality of the voices being heard was horrible.

- The crashes but I anticipated those since this was an alpha.

Overall, I really enjoyed playing the alpha and hope that the beta fleshes out more content before the actual release because I will probably pre-order this.
