Man this is tough for me. I don't know what my favorite genre is, maybe because I am too sleepy. I'll list my favorite games and think about my fav genre. Mario 3 Super Mario 64 Every Zelda game I have ever played Mario Kart (snes and n64) Battle Toads Double Dragons (all three) Starcraft Counter strike...all versions not source Elder scrolls Oblivion and skyrim....still haven't played morrowind Dishonored All three bioshock games Fallout 3 and fallout new vegas and soon to be fallout 4 GTA V Portal and portal 2 Halo C.E. Rainbow six (eagle watch) Twisted Metal (any version) Mortal Kombat I am sure I'll think of more later. and I'll try to think of my favorite genre. |

Favorite Genre: Open-World Sandbox games RPGs Favorite games: (N64 best Nintento Console) Super Mario Gameboy, Super Mario 64, Mario Kart 64, Super Smash Bros (Back when DK was an over-powered god), Other games: Minecraft (Sorry I had to throw that in there because it sparked the techyness in me.) Quite the rage. I would love it. Stupid bowser shells though... At least back in N64 Mario Kart the items were tons more practical than they are in the new Mario Karts.

I don't really have a specific genre that I favorite since a lot of time has gone by and my tastes in games have changed drastically. But I would say overall, it would be JRPGs that made up most of my favorite games of all time that I could remember. All the games listed I have played and beaten (well I'd say about 90% of them I have beaten anyways.) NES: Zelda Zelda 2 SNES: MegaMan 7, X, X2, X3 Zelda: A Link To The Past Street Fighter Killer Instinct (Fulgore was the shit!) Super Mario 3 Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest ...and a bunch of others that I forget the names to PlayStation: Final Fantasy 7, 8, 9, Tactics Xenogears (A TRUE MASTERPIECE of its time!) Breath of Fire 3 & 4 The Legend of Dragoon (Another beautiful and awesome RPG!) Tekken 1, 2, 3 Syphon Filter series Metal Gear Solid Final Fantasy Anthologies Parasite Eve 1 & 2 Ace Combat Chocobo's Dungeon 2 (fucking hard ass game) Chrono Trigger (came with Anthologies) Crash Bandicoot trilogy Croc: Legend of the Gobbos Final Fantasy VI (came with Anthologies) Kartia: The Word of Fate Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete MegaMan Legends 1 & 2 MegaMan X4 - X6 PaRappa The Rapper (don't judge me!) Not really. There are some that I have played but didn't like too. A good example of a shitty game that I played way back was MegaMan Command Mission. Horribly done MegaMan game. It was just so pointless on how they executed it. All the games I listed I played the shit outta them (mostly during the summer and winter breaks.) Another game that I played but didn't like at all was the older Resident Evil games. I mean they provided a lot of scares but I didn't like the way the character movement was. But if I had to condense everything in a genre-based favorite style system, it would be the following:Best RPG: Xenogears Best FPS: Counterstrike Condition Zero (MP5 was GODLY!) Best Sports: Da fuq? Sport games exist? If I wanted to play a sport, I would have signed up for some type of martial arts class Best Puzzle: Portal Best Action/Adventure: Dishonored Best Racing: Need For Speed Underground 2 (Customization choices were over 9,000 in this game) Best Indie: Audiosurf Best RTS: Command & Conquer Red Alert 2 + Yuri's Revenge expansion Best Fighter: Killer Instinct |
