Post subject:  DOD and DOD:Source
Has anybody played both DOD and DOD:Source? I recently installed DOD (I think it came with the CZa package I purchased, but I really don't remember), and it's a really fun game. THe only thing I don't like is it doesn't control your recoil like CZ does. I can shoot one bullet at a time, with a second of time in between the shots, and in a few seconds I will be looking straight up. It doesn't recenter your crosshairs. Does DOD:Source do this?

And how do they compare otherwise? I really like CZ, and CS:Source is okay, but I would much rather play CS1.6 or CZ than CS:Source - I think it lost a lot of the gameplay with the better graphics. Does DOD:Source suffer the same way CS:Source does?

yup...source is the same way... the dod source has some massive recoil issues but its suppose to be that way because of the older guns... the gun i use i have to pull down big time...like to thier feet to make sure i get a headshot..lol but the game is a blast

Ok, cool. Because the only reason I would have bought the source version was because of the recoil thing lol.

Ya i guess it depends what gun your using, I like the rifleman/sniper class the recoil is nice and there accurate the only problem is with rifleman class you don't get a pistol so if your in close combat it really hard.
I find both games are really fun and different from Cz and source I like the fact that you can sprint and go in the prone pick up grenades and throw them back at opponents and I LOVE the machine guns (once i get it planted somewhere first :P) DOD, DOD:source awesome games

p.s. if anyone want to know how to turn off the victory music in dod: source (not sure if this will work with the original) its (in console type)

I didnt like DOD when if first came out.... blah blah blah.......

But I do like a few of the maps from dod
