It's a Half-Life 2 total conversion multiplayer mod where 1 person plays as an invisible creature with the ability to lunge and stick to walls wielding only a knife and a few grenades. The other 9 are to team up and find and hunt down the single player using a limited arsenal and a handful of different gadgets. It's really fun and actually pretty spooky at times. edit: It also requires steam to download because it uses source sdk 2006 or something like that, so it will be in your steam library

That could be fun. We need like something like a day every weekend or every other weekend where we gather people and play something new or something we don't usually play. Preferably multiplayer or parallel sp.

you cannot hear the hiddens footsteps, it would make it unbalanced because the hidden only has 100hp

I guess this can be more useful in that case.


The concept is pretty simple. Theres the Hidden and IRIS. There are two IRIS classes: Assault and Support
When you spawn as IRIS you can chose what guns you want to use. At the start of the round one player is chosen to be the Hidden, its usually the person who did most damage to the Hidden the previous round.
IRIS goal is to kill the Hidden and vise versa.
Hidden only has a knife and nade.
Hidden has a stamina bar which he can use to leap in the direction they look and can grab onto walls. Hidden is almost invisible (you can see by the distortion), completely silent, and able to see enemy auras at the distance. Hidden can also use voice taunts.

Holy hell that looks hard. It's impossible to see the distortion lol.

It's actually not that bad. I've played it like a year ago. Its hard to see in the video because of the bitrate.

I don't have classes on Fridays so I'm good with Friday.

Could we possibly have a server set up by then? Its a source server so should be fairly similar to how cs servers are set up.

There's so little information about setting up a dedicated server in linux. It will probably be easier for somebody to host it on their client.

I think me mutiny azn and cemy played this a while back

basicly we just joined an empty server cause most servers are bound to be empty

That's what I had figured we'd be doing too. I'd imagine we'd only do this once or twice, not making it worth all the effort of creating a server.
