Absurd Minds

Hey guys. I've been playing TF2 for about 5 1/2 months now and I've already put in over 300 hours. I play and chat with Prototype quite a bit and a number of your other members as well on the tf2newbs servers. I can be found on there pretty much every single night and am currently the 26th top ranked player. I'm always looking to improve and would like to get into some competitive play. I would say I main pyro but I can play pretty much every class reasonably well, except maybe sniper and scout.

You can check my stats here. Yeah, my overall K:D isn't great for a few reasons but I've brought it up to just under 1 now for the previous 3 months and for the last month or so I'm easily over.

Hey man, thanks for joining up! Our clan definitely likes to attract skilled players, but ultimately we are looking for people who fit in with us and enjoy our community. So add some clan members to your friends list and play with us as much as possible! Also, we have a ventrilo server you could join. There is almost always somebody in there, especially if we're in game.

Cool. Will do. I got on the Ventrilo earlier but was having some problems. I think I may have figured that out. I just tried friending a whole bunch and got 'Could not invite this friend.' for everyone.

Yeah, I found I had that problem if I try to friend through firefox/IE if I'm not signed in to steam. I have to either sign in at steamcommunity.com and then do it, or just do it through the steam browser.

awesome to see you on our forums ray, I have played with you many times on there. I don't play on their servers anymore because frankly they are a poorly managed clan who lets people have admin that will ban anyone for any reason. We have many stories to back this up. We really try to promote a better gaming experience for everyone, so a clan that bans people for poor reasons is a quick turn off for us. We have our own server we just haven't been able to populate it and let people know we have it. We will be looking for you more, and if you are on we will invite you to where ever we are playing. I don't say to to mean that our clan isn't allowed to play in newbstf2 servers, just that some of us prefer to boycott that type of environment. So if you like it keep playing there and we will invite you when we get on. Hope to see you around man.

Oh, believe me. I know. I was a victim before, but got Octo to unban me. I really should find some new places to play but I keep going back for a few reasons. I like dustbowl although at times it can make you want to punch your computer. Most of the people are actually pretty cool and fun. I'm one of the top ranked players and I keep trying to move myself up.

I have a bunch of (tf2) friends on there that I can try to steal over like Ike, Jebbi, mediocrates. You probably seen them around there.

yeah jebbi is pretty good friends with most of us. we have been meaning to ask him if he wanted to join us, but I think if all his friends join he might do it anyway lol. I am about the same way ray, I met some good people there its just a few admin ruined it. octo was one of the few that will listen and has good sense.

I think it was Octo who was the one that banned me but he was actually pretty cool about it. I might have to check out the brony servers.

I'd be down to play source with you once I get my new computer all set up. This bad boy doesn't have a good enough graphics card yet. I'm gonna steal the one in my old machine lol
