Hi there, I'm MonarchChief. I stumbled across AM when Amaroq responded to a thread I had posted on Reddit, looking for a new group of people to play with. Historically, I hate FPS games. Run and gun. I hated them. Then some friends convinced me to buy CSGO during the Winter Sale. This game owns me now. I'm not sure what it is exactly that I like about it so much, but I can't put it down. I'm pretty sure the teamwork aspect has a lot to do with it though. I swam competitively throughout my life and even though I was great at it and loved it, I loved (American) football even more. There's something about being able to share a victory with teammates that you just don't get alone and I think that's what really sets this game apart from other shooters.

This is my first true FPS experience so I'm not too great at it (Silver Elite). I'm able to make proper calls (I won't urge the team to rotate unless I spot the bomb) and keep communication up throughout the game. I've played a couple of games with a few members of the clan and you all seem to be pretty cool and extremely patient. I'm 20 and currently in college and working, as I'm sure most of you are as well, but I try to be active as possible. I usually have every other Thursday off and try to play at least an hour a day. I want to get better at this game and I'm hoping AM will be my ticket to a better gaming experience.

Hey Monarch, I am the other co owner with amaroq (or anubis as you will see me refer to her on here....yes I said her) and she mentioned you to me. Of course we always love to see people willing to post in the forums and I look forward to getting to know you better. If you have a microphone feel free to come into our public mumble. So I actually have quit a few exams in the next week so I might not be on as much as I'd said I would, but next week my activity should return to semi-normal :P
