My boot SSD has finally given up the ghost. I recovered most files beforehand. I still have my 2 storage drives but I'm not going to install Windows on them.

I will be back soon, hopefully Tuesday night/Wednesday morning but we'll see as I need to purchase a new SSD, install it and then install Windows with the bare minimum of programs needed. Latest will be next monday.

If anyone has any recommendations on what SSD to get, let me know. I'm looking to get a fast 250-512gb SSD. I do have an m.2 slot on my motherboard, but I'm not looking to spend extra for on currently unless the differences are insane. My dead SSD was a Kingston SSD Now 128gb which died within 2 and half years.

Edit: also of note is that this just had to happen right before the new Overwatch update drops. Gee whiz! That was fun. Good playing!

Samsung EVO 850 series. Currently have it (500GB on my desktop, 120GB on my server)... It's a beast.

Tbh half of the market would be faster than that Kingston anyway.
