Absurd Minds

So a lot of people are reporting much more stable fps and better gameplay with cs:go on linux. I for one am going to try it as soon as possible. I'll post back with my findings, and if anyone else is doing it let me know.

I really want to try it as well. I might consider making the switch if CS:GO actually plays better.

I already have Ubuntu installed so I might as well check it out, keep in mind my computer is shit so it might not reflect better computers.

Yeah CS:GO on Linux is a mess right now. It's close to playable but that's about it. Constant crashing, missing sound effects (AWP shots are almost never heard), broken textures. Might just want to wait off on this for a bit.

I get 60 fps, this in a server I would in windows get 300 fps. If I go into a server where I get 500+ fps like our 1 v 1 server.... I get 100 fps.......its insane. Also, my deathadder was going fucking nuts when I tried to play. I am gonna have to do some googling and some tweaking before I think mine is "close to playable" at this point. I am still hopeful. If I get it working I will post back here and give my results then.
