I wonder the extent to which this will effect our clan, given that we have such a wide range of skills but we still (mostly) all enjoy playing together.

One person on reddit is a DMG and couldn't queue with a Silver Elite. So I bet there will be people in the clan I can't play with anymore unless we can make a full five stack (which we usually do anyway, but not always).

I may wait for the Christmas sale and buy a bunch of cs accounts that anyone in the clan can use especially if they're a higher rank

Rule #2 is stupid...You can only win twice per day but you need 10 wins to get a skill group...Takes 1 week to get a skill group...What a shame.

I have 3 accounts. My main account, one that I used to screw around on, and one that I only try my very hardest and only add people that take it very seriously. I don't mind opening the second account up for AM use. We would make an effort to keep the rank at about nova 2 - nova 4, but preferably nova 3. This account would not be used just because you don't want to use yours, it would be used so that a higher rank AM member CAN play with lower rank AM people, or so that a lower rank AM member can play with higher rank AM people.

Let me emphasize that this will be for clan use ONLY. If I ever find out that a non-clan member (not even a great community member) has used it, the privilege will be removed and I will choose specific people that are allowed to use it. Skins and cases will remain on the account.

Should I leave steam guard on and make a public email that anybody can access for the code? Or should I just turn steam guard off?

If anybody is considering changing the password or trying to commandeer the account, I bought it with my credit card and can get the account back with that info.

Before I do all this, please answer the questions in this post and let me know if you would use it if the need came up.

Honey Badgers have very tough skin. The skin is very thick and rubbery, which is almost impervious to arrow and spears. Even a blow from machete can't scratch the skin. The skin protects them from bites.

You should keep steam guard on and give people the code when they try to sign in.

I think this was implemented for cheaters who pop up with new accounts and run to global in 11 games (another example of legitimate players suffering the consequences because of cheating assholes).

Yeah, these restrictions suck in a way, but I think in the long run it might be beneficial. We usually 5 man stack anyway so we shouldn't be affected too often. Hopefully this will curb some of the smurfing and boosting.

These rules are good so when we do matchmake, we will always have a 5 man stack. It will get people to play more.

Travis, to answer your question, I will not use the account.

Pretty much any new rules that hurt cheaters/smurfs get support from me.

I just made a lobby with my brother who is a nova 2 and it allowed us to search for a match. Just a little reference.
