I was playing Dust2 and I had an M4A4 in hand. I'm long double doors and I spray somebody through the door towards t spawn.

Damage Given to "Edek" - 68 in 18 hits

What? I thought I was just missing my spray but apparently I hit him with 18 of my 24 bullet spray.... This is the worst I've ever seen or heard of. What is happening...

I've uploaded a clip of it.

Might as well use this as a teaching experience: I knew exactly where to spray because I was following his shadow the entire time. Knowing where your shadow is is an important detail to keep conscious of in competitive.

Yeah, your first one probably hit him in the head and did 20 something damage. And then you did 3-5 damage with each additional shot. Those metal doors just fuck you.

When they implemented the metal doors, Its pointless to wall them unless you have a scout or awp. The damage reduction is ridiculous with anything else. With the scout or awp, if you wall someone and hit their head, its a 1 hit kill.

I have tried to be positive recently so excuse this rant but when the metal doors were added I was fucking pissed. Call it nostalgia but you don't change a map 13 years later when nobody fucking asked for it.

One of the reasons dust2 was such a good map is that it had a simple 3 lane layout and a mid that the terrorists could take advantage of to set up complex strats. Now, since mid, long, and b doors are given superman like strength, it once again lowers the skill ceiling to appeal to casual pubstars. Poor me that i got shot through mid doors as a ct with an ak because i don't know how to properly cross.

/S. I think more changes should be added to dust2. I mean if it's not broke let's try and fix it. We need tarps and poles everywhere because that adds complexity to the game. Also, we need more moveable barrels and chickens. More post processing would be nice too. Fuck competitive CS. Gimme that 32-slot casual goodness. Better yet, make dust2 a hostage map. Camping with shotties will be the best metagame CS has to offer. /////s XD
