The devs of CSGO have recently been teasing everyone with their next big update. I have decided with all the leaks, info, announcements and confirmations to make a write up about it all. I'll try to update this as soon as more info comes out. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong and if you ask why I made this it`s because I was bored and it was late at night.
UPDATE: NEW IMAGES: These show off the new weapons in game, the loadout system, inventory button and cases/key prices.
This is one of the main sources that I used the most and I highly recommend if you have the time to read it fully: https://github.com/SteamDatabase/SteamT ... ensive.vdf
First Things First: CS:GO's one year anniversary is August 21st. This may be the day that the update could be released but the CSGO Dev twitter says in one tweet "This Weeks Update" Many people are also speculating that the update will be released Wednesday the 14th.

A lot of the features and code seem to be reused from TF2 before the F2P update was released (Unusual Quality, Paint, Crates and Crafting). One of the leaked features was still from TF2 but after it went F2P (Strange Quality items and Strange Parts)
In Detail:
M4A1 w/ Silencer: It's a new weapon, comes with the silencer which (Unconfirmed) can't be detached. The item description before the Item Schema update was taken down: "Less expensive and with a smaller magazine than its unmuffled counterpart, the silenced M4A1 provides quieter shots with less recoil and better accuracy."
Weapon Class: Rifle
Magazine: 20
Price: 3000 w/Silencer
It's cheaper than the M4A4, comes with a silencer and has less recoil with better accuracy. Downside is that it has 20 shots in a clip (make those shots count).
EDIT: Apparently the Description and Values tell different stories about accuracy. This comment made by RDno1 on Reddit talk about it:
More in depth info here (Accuracy, Damage, Heat, Tracers, etc.):
(also has info on USP, Bayonets, Crafting, Painting and other stuff)
USP w/ Detachable Silencer: Another new weapon, comes with a detachable silencer. Item description: "A fan favorite from Counter-Strike Source, the Silenced USP Pistol has a detachable silencer that gives shots less recoil while suppressing attention-getting noise."
Weapon Class: Pistol
Magazine: 13
Price: 200

New Knives and Bayonet: A very interesting addition to CS:GO.
This picture shows all of the new knives as well as the crates/cases:
http://puu.sh/40FgE.jpg
It is unknown if these are skins for the current knife. If the bayonet has anything to say about it they aren't skins but new knifes. Although the M9 Bayonet may be a skin for the default bayonet. I do like the looks of them but if they aren't skins than we should wonder what differences they will have from the defaults.
The Bayonet does have a description and some values assigned to it. Description: "Relatively unchanged in its design since World War II, the bayonet still retains a place in modern military strategy. Bayonet charges have continued to be effective as recently as the second Gulf War and the war in Afghanistan."
More info here:
E-Sports and Valve Crates/Keys: In the item schema update that was leaked, pictures and items of crates and keys were leaked out to the corners of the internet.
E-Sports Crate and Key shown here:
http://i.imgur.com/BADiwks.png
The key's description says that a portion of the proceeds from the key will go to the CS:GO tournaments. This is what the devs were meaning when they said a way for the community to help tournaments.
The Valve Crate and Key must be the same thing only no proceeds go to the tournaments.
They will probably drop: Weapon Skins/Paints, Strange Parts, Strange Quality Items and maybe some other shit too. I DUNNO?
To me this is a big change and will probably make me go broke.

There are also different colors for each of the qualities but I'm adding them. All of these are from TF2 and Dota 2 and are just going to be most likely reused for CS:GO.
Weapon Skins/Paintable Weapons:
There are some tidbits of code here and there saying things about skins and stuff. By tidbits here and there, I mean there is a shitload of line of code with it on there.
Link:
https://github.com/SteamDatabase/SteamT ... ensive.vdf
From lines 335 to 2135 it talks about different icons for the weapons with the skins added.
Strange Parts:
Coming from TF2 and Dota 2, strange parts can be attached to strange quality weapons which will show an amount of a certain action and how many times it was done (EX. Demomen Killed, Headshot Kills, etc).
Lines 6136 to 6158 from the github link talk about a "Kill Eater". The kill eater attribute is used on strange weapons in both TF2 and Dota 2 to signal weapons that have a kill counter or so on them. The same thing will probably go for CS:GO.
The name StatTrak™ is a fictional name of a company that manufactures kill tracking products. Description: "This weapon features StatTrak™ technology, which tracks certain statistics when held by its owner."
Other Things
Loadouts: From lines 276 to 333 on the github link it talks about loadout slots. Very interesting.
Crafting: All over the github code there are lines that link to crafting. We can assume that Crafting is going to be implemented in this game in some way.
Inventory: I'm just assuming this because of everything that has been leaked so far.
The biggest question of this update is of course,
IS CS:GO GOING F2P?
Who knows? I sure don't. TF2 added crates, paints and new weapons almost a whole year before it went F2P. Dota 2 was F2P to begin with. CS:GO is in a awkward place right now with it being a $15 dollar downloadable title at release rather than a retail game like TF2 or a F2P game like Dota 2.
I hope it does become F2P. Why? I want it to become F2P because it will increase the community of those playing CS:GO. Then we have more people who never wanted to try it, thought it sucked or just didn't want to pay for it trying the game out because of it becoming free. If there is one wish I want though it's that competitive matchmaking play being a one time purchase for people who didn't buy the game before it went F2P.
SO IN CONCLUSION, this update is the biggest and craziest update for CS:GO yet!
I got tired when I was writing most of the info so I will probably fix everything up when I wake up tomorrow.
