Some constructive criticism and a thumbs up is appreciated! I know there's a few glitchy parts, I don't think there's much I can do about that aside from re-recording the demo in a different way. Give my reddit link a upvote while you're at it ![]() |

I really like the video, nice music choice. All I would say is two things, i found that if you disable the X-Ray of the opponets it makes for a better video because it makes me nervous where they will pop out next, having the X-Ray makes me expect you to know where they are kinda. And the last thing you kinda all ready said, just a smoother video without the "glitches." what do you use to record? |

I like X-ray if you're giving constructive criticism bc you get the see what the other team is doing and how you are prepared for that I prefer X-ray off if I'm watching a pro match tho as it is more exciting that way |

Thanks ![]() Quote: what do you use to record?
I use OBS to record. I read about a way to convert a .dem into a .avi file. That would give me a much better file to work with as my CPU isn't quite up to par to play csgo and record.

I cant speak for OBS for video recording but i love using fraps, it doesnt compress the file so i like to record to a open harddrive or external one at 60 fps for SUPA SMOOTH video. Then I use Handbreak to convert the video to MP4 or MKV |

The intro is 9 seconds long. No intro should ever be 9 seconds long especially if it's just a static logo. You can only get away with more than 5 seconds if your logo is animated, but even then the max would be 10 seconds. You might lose a viewers interest or make someone think that the video is a piss poor edit job. It looked like the intro was used for syncing the video with the music but you just decided to fade in both the music and logo. If I was you I would cut 4-5 seconds of the intro and then fade in. The logo is nicely done though. The choppiness of the video was very noticeable and almost deterred me to clicking off the video. Recommend you fix (Re-Record or Encode it differently) and re-upload the video or fix it for your second video (If you ever make one). For recording I used to use Dxtory (When my computer wasn't obsolete) so I really can't say if anything has changed over a year in that department. Fraps is great but creates HUGE files and is a system resource hogger, Dxtory gives plenty of options for the advanced user but might be confusing for a beginner (plus it cost a money) and OBS is just plain good with a couple of bugs here and there. Still, sick ace brah but neds moar qu1ksc0p3s. |
