Apparently all the pass gets you is the mission drops. You don't need to the pass to just play the maps on valve servers. |

I think you need the pass in order to play certain maps on competitive, such as overpass. |

You've been able to play overpass in competitive since Overpass was made an official map. (Remember, Overpass and Cbble were both included in competitive Operation Bravo (I think) even though they were official Valve maps, because Valve wanted to playtest them competitively before the full release. When Operation Bravo ended, Valve tweaked both maps and released them as full official maps. You've been able to play them in competitive since that day.)

When I checked last time overpass was not available for MM. Yesterday I saw it and it said only playable with "All Access" Pass. EDIT: NVM, they have it as active duty maps and you can only record the stats if you have an ALL Access Pass. I still never saw overpass as a Competitive map since Operation Bravo. |

Then you weren't paying good enough attention. :/ It has been there since that one operation (Operation Bravo, I think) ended. It was probably on the second page with things like aztec and office, so perhaps you never scrolled to that page. I have added it to my queue many times (though thank god I never actually got it).

There is nothing to be confused about. They drop at the end of the match and it tells you what to do. EX: Win a competitive match on Cache. Once you complete it, it will give you a weapon drop. The drops from the missions are different from the case, obviously. I think the missions tell you what type of drop you will get. I had one that asked for 20 Heavy kills on casual and the contract type was base grade. I think base grade means white/light blue drop. |

OH COOL! I didn't know it gives you a grade for what weapon to expect! That helps prioritize them ![]() |
