It has been a long while since an update and there is also currently no operation. The developers must be doing some serious bug fixing or getting setup for Source 2. What do you guys think is taking so long? |

Man I hope it's source 2. And I hope source 2 comes with updates to the netcode. |

Every time we're in between operations, people speculate for crazy things -.- I don't think csgo will be ported to source 2. they'll make a new game. |

It's their most popular paid game and it had a successful market. I think they would have to be brain dead to not port it. |

I actually want to see what they did with 1.6 to cz. Keep the game generally the same but add some more things that doesn't change the gameplay too much |

That's what I think will happen if they port it over. It won't be a game update, it will be a new game to buy |

I was playing in a random pub the other day and everyone was talking about the next operation have a new bolt action rifle that was better than the AWP. I think its all BS but who knows. |

I really hope they don't introduce any new weapons. There are plenty of good guns; they just need to be balanced. |

there is already coding for another rifle in the game. it is a bolt action. |

There is TONS of coding for tons of extra things in many different games, they are just not implemented and usually not left out of the released version. |

this coding was added a few months back with an update. it was no originally in. that doesn't usually happen. |

If the bolt action rifle is true, I don't think it will be better than the awp. Rather, an alternative like the CZ |

I wonder what the benefit/drawback would be. There is already the auto sniper and the scout, which provide a good benefit/drawback balance to the awp. I have no idea how they could possibly balance another sniper into the mix.

Some people speculated after the AWP movement Nerf it will be a more powerful AWP or something like the scout that is powerful yet really mobile. |

I could almost see the quickness of the scout plus more damage but without jumping |
