The inaccuracy is built into the weapons. I think it's a stupid mechanic, but that's not hitreg - it's coded weapon inaccuracy, and it's coded into the game as a means of balancing the weapons.

IMO, any shot with any gun should be 100% accurate if you're not moving. The guns need to be balanced in a different way other than inaccuracy values when stationary.

I think they're trying to be realistic. Most guns don't shoot straight. Some guns straight up suck.

Yeah, I think you're right about that. I don't think realism belongs in a competitive arcade shooter. Counter strike needs to pick one or the other, realism or arcade, instead of trying to blend them. The blending ruins the competition.

I agree. A realistic shooter is loads of fun and can absorb hours of anybodys day. An arcade shooter is what is competitive though. Realism is for survival feelings.

Oh I know. It's just that this whole inaccuracy thing doesn't surprise me, 3kliksphilip did a video on this exact thing long ago so it comes to no surprise. It is still frustrating when you know your shot was perfect but you don't get a hit.
