There is a new update for CS:GO. It adds a new Operation, new knife, new skins and brings Nuke back (albeit redone). All changes can be found here Operation Wildfire Webpage Reintroducing Nuke Webpage WARNING IF YOU HAVE AN AMD GPU: The game might crash every 5 to 10 mins. Try to avoid competitive unless you are sure it will not crash. A possible fix is to drop all settings down to low. Both AMD and Valve are aware of the issue and are (hopefully) fixing it as we speak. Size is about 1.6 GB, so it's pretty big. Opinions? Personally I'm excited as I've been kinda burnt on CS:GO the past couple of weeks but the patch size means it will probably take me 6 hours to download with my shitty internet. That and after the update the game will probably crash on me since I'm running a 270x. |

Operation HYPE. New nuke looks fucking amazing. Now I might not play the division beta. :/ |

Lowered my settings to medium and it fixed the crashes. Still stupid. |

why do you not play on low settings anyway? because of skins? |

I was playing some CSGO in the morning before I went out to get some stuff and decided to mess around with some of the graphics settings. First, I set everything to medium and then I started to turn a couple of the settings to high. When I set the shaders to high, it would crash. So, it seems like there's something wrong in terms of shaders with the game. I'll mess around with the Crimson settings for CSGO later today. So for now, you can set everything to high EXCEPT shaders. |

Someone in the update thread from today mentioned that shaders set to medium was his fix. I have everything back to high except shaders and it hasn't crashed once. |

I agree. I like most of the maps except maybe santorini. |
